Terms of Service
Last updated: 31 July 2026
1. Introduction
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Chambrix website and any web development, design, ecommerce, SEO or digital marketing services we provide (the “Services”). By using our website or engaging us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or Services.
2. Our Services
Chambrix provides custom web development, website design, ecommerce builds, search engine optimisation and related digital services. The specific scope, deliverables and timelines for any engagement are agreed in a separate proposal or statement of work, which forms part of these Terms.
3. Quotes, Fees and Payment
- Quotes are based on the requirements provided and remain valid for the period stated in the proposal.
- Fees, payment schedules and any deposits are set out in your proposal or statement of work.
- Additional work outside the agreed scope may be quoted separately before it is carried out.
- Invoices are payable by the due date shown; late payment may pause work until the account is settled.
4. Client Responsibilities
To deliver on time, we rely on you to provide content, access, feedback and approvals in a timely manner. You are responsible for ensuring that any materials you supply — including text, images and logos — are accurate and that you hold the necessary rights to use them.
5. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, ownership of the final deliverables transfers to you once all fees have been paid in full. We retain ownership of any pre-existing tools, frameworks and know-how used to produce the work, and we may reference completed projects in our own portfolio unless you ask us not to.
6. Third-Party Services
Our Services may rely on third-party platforms, plugins, hosting or APIs. Those services are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for changes, outages or charges that arise from them.
7. Warranties and Disclaimers
We provide our Services with reasonable skill and care. Except as expressly stated, the website and Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee specific search rankings, traffic levels or business outcomes, as these depend on factors outside our control.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chambrix will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue or data. Our total liability arising from an engagement will not exceed the fees paid to us for that engagement.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate an engagement in line with the notice terms set out in the relevant proposal. On termination, you agree to pay for all work completed up to the termination date.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page with its effective date. Continued use of our website or Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at our principal place of business, and any disputes will be subject to the courts of that jurisdiction.
12. Contact Us
